Deputies offer reward for arrest of man who raped an elderly woman | News
CALHOUN COUNTY, AL (WBRC)- Authorities in Calhoun County are hoping that offering a $1,000 reward will help them find the man they say raped an elderly woman.
Investigators say a man raped an 82-year-old woman in Alexandria in the woman's driveway. The man approached her as if he was going to ask for directions but then attacked her.
The woman suffered a heart attack during the rape and she underwent open heart surgery this week.
The woman described the man as in his 40s to 50s, with dark hair and weighing about 250 pounds. Because of her condition, she has been unable to provide additional details.
