Disaster Preparedness Training offered in Calhoun County | Events

Calhoun County businesses will have the opportunity to go through a free disaster preparedness training program offered at the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce.

The training will cover topics including preparing an emergency plan, insurance coverage, cyber security and business continuity plans. Several Calhoun County organizations teamed up to offer the free training, including the Calhoun County Citizen’s Corp, Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, JSU Small Business Development  Center, Calhoun County EMA and Quintard Mall.

The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22. To sign up for the free course, contact the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce at 256-237-3536.
