Calhoun Co EMA: No more volunteers needed | Community Spirit
The Calhoun County EMA says it no longer needs volunteers to help in the storm-affected areas of the county.
The Calhoun County EMA sent the following note to FOX6 News Wednesday afternoon:
"At this time Calhoun County EMA would like to announce that we are no longer in need of volunteers to help in the affected areas of our county. The outpouring of over 2000 volunteers in the past week has helped out impacted communities begin the processes of recovery. If you are still looking for ways to help, you can contact your local church to see if there is a need in the community, donate blood, or make a monetary donation to one of the many non-profit organizations in the area. We would like to thank each and every person who came out to help the citizens of Calhoun County during this unprecedented disaster. "
