Chamber hosts Father's Day party | Business
From the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce:
The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is set to host a Father’s Day party geared at honoring and celebrating chamber members who are fathers. “Party for Pops” will give chamber members who are fathers an opportunity to relax, be celebrated and pampered through a variety of services including massage, pampering, food, drinks, blood pressure screenings and giveaways.
While this is the first Father’s Day party that the chamber has coordinated, the success of their first Mother’s Day Pamper party sparked a desire to continue to celebrate chamber members for their hard work and diligence in making the community a better place to live and work.
“We have such a wonderful variety of businesses in the chamber-each one adding to the greatness of our county-so it’s nice to celebrate fathers with some of the services our members have.” Tourism and Marketing Director, Ebonee Thompson said.
The event, which is coordinated by Thompson and Member Services Coordinator Emily Duncan, will take place June 14, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce. Services will be provided from Heroes Grille, Wade & Associates Chiropractic Clinic, Regional Medical Center, Supreme Beverage, Monet Salon & Day Spa, Always There In-Home Care, Inc., C.A.R.E.S., and Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Silver Lakes, Cider Ridge Golf Club and Civilian Marksmanship Program. The event is free of charge and open to all chamber members who are fathers.
